Cossette Productions Inc., doing business as Cossette Wallpaper® (“Cossette Wallpaper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit www.cossettewallpaper.com (the “Site”) or engage our services.

1. Who We Are

Cossette Productions Inc. is a Florida-based custom wallpaper design and installation company operating under the trade name Cossette Wallpaper®. Our registered address is 8600 NW 56 St, Unit 4, Doral, FL 33166.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you choose to give us, including when you:

  • Fill out our contact or consultation request form (name, email address, phone number, zip code, and message)
  • Schedule a consultation or installation appointment
  • Communicate with us by email, phone, WhatsApp, or direct message on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok)

When you contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, your messages and any information you share are also subject to the privacy policies of those respective platforms, as we do not control how they collect or process data on their end. We only receive what you choose to send us through those channels. Responses to ad inquiries may be handled through Kommo, our customer relationship management platform.

Providing information through our online forms is voluntary. However, if you choose not to provide it, we may not be able to schedule your consultation or deliver our services.

In order to perform our services — including visiting your home or business to take measurements and complete installations — we must collect your name, address, phone number, and email address. Without this information we cannot deliver our services.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and tracking technologies, including:

  • Your IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited, time spent on each page, and the site that referred you to us
  • Interactions with content on the Site

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from the following platforms if you interact with our pages, ads, posts, or direct messages on those services:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) — including likes, comments, messages, and ad interactions
  • TikTok — including comments, messages, and interactions with our content

Each of these platforms operates independently and has its own privacy policy governing how it collects and uses your data. We encourage you to review their policies directly.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your consultation requests and communicate with you about your project
  • Send project proposals, invoices, appointment reminders, and status updates by email or SMS through ServiceMinder
  • Schedule and conduct in-home or in-business consultations and installations
  • Send you promotional emails, design inspiration, and service updates where you have not opted out
  • Analyze how visitors use our Site in order to improve its content and performance
  • Serve relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram through the Meta Pixel
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • Protect against fraud, security threats, and unlawful activity

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Please note that Meta Pixel may also track your activity across other websites and apps as part of Meta’s broader advertising network, subject to Meta’s own privacy practices.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cossette Wallpaper, our team, or our customers.

Business Transfers. If Cossette Productions Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you of any such change by email or prominent notice on the Site.

5. Media Release

When you engage our services, you acknowledge that Cossette Wallpaper retains the right to photograph and video record the installation process and finished result for use in our marketing materials, website, and social media, without compensation. The media release is presented as a separate acknowledgment at the time of booking and is also included in our Terms and Conditions.

If you prefer that your project not be featured publicly, please notify us in writing before your appointment and we will honor that request.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Opt out of marketing emails. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email privacy@cossettewallpaper.com to opt out. Please allow up to 5 business days to process. You will continue to receive transactional communications related to any active project or appointment even after opting out of marketing.

Opt out of SMS messages. By providing your phone number and engaging our services, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your project (such as appointment confirmations, proposals, and invoices) sent through ServiceMinder. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Message and data rates may apply.

Manage cookies. You may manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences option in the footer of our Site, or by adjusting your browser settings. See Section 7 for details.

Access, correct, or delete your data. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@cossettewallpaper.com. We will respond within 30 days and will complete verified deletion requests within 45 days of confirmation, except where retention is required by law — for example, financial records related to completed projects, which we retain for 7 years as required by Florida law.

Opt out of targeted advertising. You may opt out of Meta’s use of your information for ad targeting through your Meta Ad Preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences) and Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. The cookies we use fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — Required for the Site to function. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — Set by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Data is anonymized.
  • Marketing cookies — Set by Meta (Facebook Pixel) to measure advertising effectiveness and enable retargeting.
  • Functional cookies — Used to remember your preferences, such as language settings.

8. Data Retention

  • Maintain our business relationship with you or fulfill any active project
  • Comply with legal and tax record-keeping obligations (for example, financial records related to completed projects, which we retain for 7 years as required by Florida law)

Contact form submissions and consultation records are retained for up to 3 years from your last interaction with us, after which they are deleted unless an active business relationship exists.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA).

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at privacy@cossettewallpaper.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes — meaning changes that expand how we collect or use your data — we will provide at least 14 days’ notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Site after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida, consistent with our Terms and Conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cossette Wallpaper’s liability for any claims arising under this Privacy Policy shall be limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
